About Us

Align Magazine showcases the fashion and lifestyles that define the students of the University of Oregon.

We are an online and print platform that gives students with a love for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle the chance to be published. As an all-inclusive publication, we pride ourselves on emboldening creativity and lifting up the artists of our community to produce their very best work.

Check out our seasonal issues here, and for day-to-day content, head to our blog where we drop just about everything; from mouth-watering moments in the kitchen to the top facemask of the age, from yay or nay fashion moments to our fashion must-haves, from what we’re listening to and where we’re traveling, plus so much more.

If you’re looking to learn more about Align, our team, or want to get involved, head over to our Contact Page. We’re always looking for new points of view. Yes, that means you!

Wishing you a perfectly curated closet, the clearest of skin, and all the creative successes of the world,

I’m a public relations/Swedish major and multimedia minor at UO. I started off as a writer for Align, assisting in the art direction department here and there, but I’m happy to be working on the executive team now as both a writer and project manager. Beyond my involvement in Align, you can find me making miscellaneous art, driving to the coast, or making sweet Sunday brunches

You can find me cozied up in the kitchen baking a lemon loaf, tucked away in a coffee shop with a London fog, bullet journaling, or planning my next international adventure. I’m all about working toward the next big thing; currently that is making this magazine the best it can possibly be

I'm a writer from Los Angeles, California majoring in Cinema Studies and minoring in Creative Writing! I've been writing for the past 10 years with the intent to publish and have been fascinated (alongside styling) with fashion since birth. I started at Align art directing, and I'm happy to work alongside the executive team as a project manager. I work to highlight QPOC artists, writers, and filmmakers.

Inspired by passion and fueled by caffeine, I love anything and everything fashion. I’ve always found myself drawn to those who take creative risks and those who step out of the box to create something new; exactly how I aspire to be. I’m in the SOJC Ad program here at UO so you can either find me grinding in Allen or slinging espresso shots at the café in Lillis.

I’m a sucker for A24 films, The Neighbourhood, and flavored lip balm. love minimalist fashion and a good pair of platform shoes. If I’m not in Allen Hall or Lawrence, you’ll usually find me scrolling through Tumblr or contemplating reinventing myself (for the third time this month). Making Instagram stories and Spotify playlists are my pride and joy — that’s why I do it for Align!

I am an Art and Technology major an Business minor. I love everything creative; creating anything from scratch is so much fun for me. Anything from drawing and art to coding and graphic design, to lighting and set design. My goal is to either a tattoo artist or web designer.

I’m a journalism student who secretly wants to write for Comedy Central. I’m passionate about corduroy, striped turtlenecks, and Farrah Fawcett’s hair. I love writing about people, art, music, and film.

I am a Texas-born queer Chicana maximalist whose work extends across the mediums of photography, design, illustration, and, sometimes, film. More greatly, the fight for representation of and equity for marginalized communities informs both my personal and work philosophies.

I have always been involved with art and creative ventures. From a very young age, I knew going into a creative field was my goal. I have had the chance to be an art teacher, take art history classes, participate in AP Art in high school, and be a member of the Women in Creative Industries Club at UO which has allowed me to find my love for design and editing.

I’m a journalism major and legal studies minor from LA. When I’m not having a crisis and blogging about my conflicting personality traits, you’ll find me reading at the beach and listening to pretty much anything. I obsess over my dog (a border collie, although nobody asked) and Italian food. I’ve been writing as long I can remember and love editing even more as it satisfies my Virgo need for perfectionism.

I’m going into my senior year as a Journalism honors student at the University of Oregon. I have experience writing feature stories, editing and conducting media-related research. I’m excited to be involved in Align this year because it combines two of my favorite things: fashion and meaningful storytelling.
