From sparkly tops, to patterned pants, to little black dresses: New Years Eve is notorious for the night of mystery and dazzle. I asked three of my closest pals to wear outfits they felt most confident in and fitting for NYE. That being said, with the euphoric lighting, this years' New Years Eve is looking colorful, silky, and bright.
First, Megan. Meet Megan, she’s a TikTok loving, genuine, and 12/10 human. Statement jewelry is and always will be prevalent in fashion. Urban Outfitters and Madewell have always encountered bold statement earrings. Megan’s fashion advice is to present yourself how you want others to perceive you. “My advice is YOLO in all honestly,” she said.
Next, Lilly. Lilly used to be involved comedy sports, and her favorite movie is Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Lilly loves NYE because it is a time to celebrate the things that have happened in the past 365 days. For her look, she went with a colorful makeup and colorful hair accessories - a must have. Colorful eyeliner and butterfly clips have come back into everyday fashion, which are a small, yet noticeable statement if you just want to wear something simple on NYE.
To finish it off, my pal Jake. Jake is a one of a kind, personable human. His best piece of advice for NYE is to wear whatever you want, or something that is unique to catch the eye of a potential lover and have a good talking point. So, naturally he showed up to the shoot with pearls, scarves, a hat, and I added a touch of gems to give him that NYE glow. “Winter fashion is fucking hot,” he said.
